This volume presents the papers of the Seventh Three-day Working Meeting on the art and techniques in vineyards in Northern Greece, organised by the Association of Wine-producers of Ampelona in Macedonia and the ETBA Cultural Foundation, in Adriani, Drama, in June 1999. Thirty-three scientists from different disciplines announced the results of their studies and provided evidence for the continuous importance of wine in the production, technology and economy of Northern Greece.
