The heavenly tastes and the appetizing smells of childhood, those hot summers at the village, so many years ago, flood the memory and become almost tangible even when only reading the local tranditional recipes from Agia Paraskevi in Lesbos. A certain nostalgia awakes up in the palate for grandma's dishes, those she used to cook with virgin olive oil, with olives and with fresh myzithra cheese; with whatever her kitchen garden would provide and with whatever the fisherman or the shepherd would bring along.
