Handcrafted aluminum box that can be used for small items (paperclips, pins, etc.) or as a small jewelry case.
The lid is decorated with rich green enamel and a brass skinos tree, inspired by the Chios Mastic Museum. The museum is located in the Mastihohoria, a group of medieval villages in southern Chios, the only place in the Mediterranean where the Pistacia lentiscus var. Chia is cultivated, from which mastic is harvested.
The box is made using the traditional sand casting technique.
