Returns policy

Returns of products

 

If you wish to return a product, you can do so within 14 calendar days from the day you received it, subject to the following conditions:

The product or products to be returned must be in the condition in which you received them, not having been damaged/spoiled, not having been used, worn, soiled, not being in any other condition than the original one.
Products purchased together as part of a promotional offer may not be returned individually. Products purchased together as a set cannot be returned individually. Αll products included in the set must be returned.
In case of product changes involving a "3 for 2" promotional offer, all three pieces must be returned in order to complete the process.
In the case of a product change involving a buy one and get a second one XX% off promotional offer, the entire set of items must be returned in order to complete the process.

Make sure that the products are packaged correctly and are not at risk of being damaged in transit.
In the case of returns, the cost of the courier service is borne entirely by the customer, who also bears the risk of damage to the product. It is advisable to keep the courier company's receipt until the return process is completed.

In case the products are returned damaged, incomplete or out of their packaging, or in case they are not accompanied by their purchase invoice or the corresponding retail receipt, the Foundation reserves the right to either not accept the return of the product and not to credit the purchase cost to your account, or to offset the cost of restoring the product with the amount to be returned to the customer.

The cost of restoring the product will be determined by its condition. The Foundation is authorized to determine this unilaterally. In addition, the Foundation may delay in refunding you if it has not received the product to be replaced together with all the documents that accompanied it (e.g. consignment note, retailer's receipt, etc.) and its complete packaging.
Any returns made in circumstances other than those already mentioned will not be accepted. As soon as you receive your order, check all products thoroughly for any damage.

In case of any defects, (e.g. the product has been tampered with or broken inside the packaging during shipment), a replacement is only made if we are informed within 24 hours after you receive your parcel from the courier company. You must send an email to eshop@piop.gr with relevant photos and provide us with your details (contact phone number, full name and order number).

Beyond this period of time a replacement is not possible.

In the case of a defective copy, such as a book with issues arising during production (blank pages, incorrect numbering, poor printing, etc.) that become apparent while reading the book, there is no time limit for notifying the Foundation and requesting a replacement of the book.

In the case of our error, we will refund you in full the money corresponding to the value of the order and the shipping costs. In this case, you will not incur any additional charges.

The Foundation is liable for any actual defects and lack of agreed properties according to Article 534 et seq. of the Civil Code as currently in force.

In this case, the return transport costs are borne by the Foundation, provided of course that the defective product is sent by the cooperating courier company.

Refund 

The amount of the refund, which relates to the purchase value and not to transport costs, is credited:
- To your debit/credit card, if the payment of the order has been made through it.
- The bank account that you have filled in on the return form, if the order has been paid for by bank deposit.

For the refund, you must indicate the bank account where you want the deposit to be made, the bank, the beneficiary of the relevant account and the number of your order to which the refund relates.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of receipt of the products by the Foundation.

The Foundation is not responsible if the transfer of the refund to the bank account is delayed for reasons beyond its control (e.g. in case of a malfunction of the banking system).

Gift orders (where the delivery/gift recipient address is different from the billing/donor address) are not entitled to a refund.

In case the user redeems loyalty points from the yellow loyalty program, the refund will be made proportionally between money and points as provided for in the Terms and Conditions of the specific Piraeus Bank program. 

Return procedure 

Step 1. Fill in the return form that you will find in the package you received. In case you have lost it, contact us at eshop@piop.gr so that we can forward it to you again.

Step 2. Place the product in the packaging in which it was sent to you, to avoid damage during transport. Place the return form and a photocopy of the proof of purchase in the same packaging.
Call a courier of your choice to come and collect your package (sender's charge).

Step 3. Send the package exclusively to the address:

The shipping costs for the return of an order are borne entirely by the sender. 

USEFUL NOTES

- If the return is not made within the 14-calendar day period from the date of receipt or if any of the return requirements are not met, the Foundation has the right to refuse to proceed with a replacement or refund.
- In any case, it is essential to send the receipt and the return form. 

Cancellation of the order

You can cancel your order free of charge, if you wish, provided that the products have NOT yet been shipped from our store, by sending us an email at eshop@piop.gr,

only during our call centre's opening hours, with your order number, the name and surname of the person who placed the order and your telephone number. You will receive a reply email confirming the cancellation of your order.
